Temporary Resident Visa (TRV)

Electronic Travel Authority (eTA)

Parent & Grand-Parent Visa (Super-Visa)

Visitors:

Are you looking to visit Canada? With the exception of American citizens and U.S. Permanent Residents, travellers will either need a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) or an Electronic Travel Authority (eTA) to travel to Canada. Whether you are looking to travel for a holiday, family or exploratory visit, you may need a visa.

Typically, the maximum duration of authorized stay for a visitor in Canada is 6 months.  There are circumstances where a person can be authorized, as a visitor, for a longer period of time. It’s important to receive appropriate counsel regarding intended stays in excess of 6 months.  Additionally, Border Services Officers (BSO) with Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) have the authority to limit a person's stay to less then 6 months. If you find yourself in this situation, seek out advice.

Super Visa:

Parents and grand-parents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents are eligible to be sponsored for a Super-Visa.  This visa, also commonly referred to as the PG Visa, allows for parents or grand-parents to remain in Canada for a period of-up-to two (2) years.

Regardless of whether it is your first time applying for a visa or you've had a previous (even multiple) visa refusals, Chameleon Immigration Services will provide client centred advice and application approaches.
