Naturalization

If you have lived in Canada for 3 out of the last 5 years; have filed your taxes; pass a citizenship test and meet language requirements, then you may be eligible to apply for Canadian Citizenship.

Proof of Citizenship

First generation children born outside of Canada to a Canadian parent, may be Canadian citizens.

If you have a parent or grand-parent who was/is a Canadian, you may be a Canadian.
